Venice Nights

I've been bitten by the Venice bug. Days are brighter, nights are thicker, and my mentality is clearer in Venice.

Fat Sal's

After a year holdout on Fat Sal's due to my good eating habits, my dark side took over last night. In westwood at about 10 pm, yours truly endulged in the "Fat Jerry" consisting of Philly Cheese Steak, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fried egg, bacon, french fries, mayo, and ketchup on a nicely toasted hero. Originally I was not going to purchase this gargantuan, colossal heart attack, but the cashier at the window proceeded to say, "What are you, a pussy"? Anyone that knows me is aware that I never back down from a challenge and refuse to lose at anything I do.... 30 minutes later I was done and was blown away at the amazing quality, the amazing aftertaste left on my pallet, and the mere satisfaction that my holdout was over. I co-sign Fat Sal's to the fullest.

Goals

You must take the positives out of life whenever possible. Although my first love, futbol, is not competitively in my life right now, I did introduce cycling, which has taken up a new place in my heart. There is nothing like feeling with wind in your face, bugs in your teeth, and the burn in your quads. Two rides coming up, 100 miles and 600 miles. Entering beastmode, goals must be accomomplished and new boundaries need to be set.  The non-existence of failure is what drives me everyday.
